2023 Thoburn Cup Winners

On 21 October 2023, the ACSI Debate Club sent two teams to compete in the Thoburn Cup 2023 organised by ACJC. Team A comprised Nathaniel Cheng (3.09), Ephraim Wu (3.10), Zhang Zhihe (3.10), Jerome Chan (3.16) and Jerome Ong (3.16) and Team B comprised Ayden Heng (2.09), Aarav Agarwal (2.12), Yang Zhenglin (4.13), Caden Wong (4.16) and Gabriel Wong (4.16). Both teams were victorious in all three rounds.

Team B emerged Champions while Team A achieved First Runners up position with Jerome Ong, Caden, Ayden, Zhenglin and Gabriel ranking 9th, 5th, 4th, 3rd and overall Best Speaker respectively. We would like to express our gratitude and appreciation to our teachers Ms Christina Raj and Mr Jacob Mok for supporting us throughout the competition and our coach, Mr Jared Yeo for his unwavering support and guidance.
